Bamboo Wood Bath Sinks Care Installation and Maintance
Wood and bamboo sinks have gotten quite popular in the last few years. The sinks are wood and do have a clear coat on them which does need to be reapplied. How often depends on your project, your use, how often the wood / sink stays wet, how often water is added to the bowl, etc.
The drain installation is extremely important that it is installed perfectly flush and level and that no water remains in the sink after use. Water on wood contact is not wanted. We recommend after you buy a new sink and before installing, you add a thin layer of cleaar silicone in the drain area and allow it to dry overnight before installing. This will add one more layer of protection.
You will from time to time need to reapply clear coat protection. This may require the sink to be uninstalled so that every surface can be covered. You can generally use a polyeurothane satin finish to reseal your sink. When applying the product the sink should first be completely clean and lint free. Any blemishes or marks removed. If you have any wood decay from waiting to long to do this process, sand the sink down in that area and sand lighting the entire sink surface with a very fine grit sandpaper. Make sure any black wood rot is removed and the area is smooth. Remove all wood shavings or dust from this process.
The clear coat can be applied a few ways but a lambs wool applicator like you would use on a hardwood floor will work the best for smooth finish. THIN coats best. Better to add a few very thin coats than one thick one. You will be happier with the finish. If you do it and you don't like the finish sand it and do it again.
The reason I suggested satin finish is the sink will not be so shiney after it is done and satin is more forgiving with any blemishes in the finish.
Take extra care to give extra sealer to the drain area, including the bottom of the sink. Protect the wood, cover it in sealer.

I didn't mean to post the thing about those 2 movies it was unintentional
My question is this: Is it ok to contact these sellers and let them know when I find a movie that they are looking for and giving them a "heads up" as to when and how much I will be listing the movies they are looking for?
Everything would be done through Ebay as far as selling, and from what I have read that is what Ebay wants; for any selling I do would be through here and not it any way off of the site.
I am basically looking to build up a customer base through people who have already bought from me. My reasoning for this is because I go out looking for good, quality, used dvd movies that are hard to find.
It is basically me doing the leg work and looking and finding movies that might be difficult for the people who have already have bought from me to find themselves.
Once again I'd like to mention that ALL SALES WILL BE HERE ON EBAY.
One example that I will be listing tonight is: I found PRISTINE versions of "The Pink Panther" and "Revenge of the Pink Panther" (the original movies) I will be listing as a set that a few of my previous buyers might be interested in.

Great Clubs
This set had been used just twice, and with the 20% discount by signing up for "bill me later", got these under $300.
They've added about 15-20% distance on most shots. Still learning how to hit htem consistently but they do go straight more consistently as they should. I am very happy I purchased these.
Not much better than my Callaway 5 wood
The 3 wood arrived in fine shape, brand new. It sets up like a custom fitted club. The shaft is labled Soft but does not feel it. Shaft lenght is the same as my 5 wood. Shots do get up in the air and carry about the same distance as my 5 wood but roll a little further. All this experience was in cool weather. Hopefully it will perform better in summer weather.
The club sets up so well that it breeds confidence and encourages a good swing with good results.
Club is labled Draw but my shota are dead straight.

The Art of Seduction by Robert Greene (2003, Paperback, Reprint)
I always send fruit jar collecting people to experts if they are uncertain about any jar. It is better for them and better for our hobby. Most folks are more than happy to answer questions and provide what information they know.
My issue is with the lady I wrote today. She had asked me to buy her fruit jar. I offered her $150 and said that I think the value is likely $200. She then told me her expert valued the jar at $300 and was I trying to rip her off? Well first of all values are in the eye of the beholder with the seller/buyer and subject to many variables such as whittle etc. but this was a simple jar.
It turns out that her "expert" was a local antique dealer who had no business offering any value. It would be like going to a medical doctor for a condition but seeing an eye doctor for a toothache. Yes they are both doctors, but only one can give you proper advise for the issue at hand.
Please do go to the experts if you have questions. These people are not difficult to find. They can be fruit jar book authors, local club members, many dealers at a fruit jar/ bottle show, chat line folks on the internet and the list goes on. What they are not is people who have a vested interest in the transaction or whom "may" be experts in another field.
Mobility Scooter: BEST Stability, full safety lighting, for seniors or disabled
It was during such a search on behalf of my 92-year old father that I discovered literally thousands of various models to choose from.
Obviously I needed to narrow the list down considerably!
Starting at the beginning, I found the choices fall into one of 2 basic types:
Electric wheelchairs, where the controls are mounted on the arm rest; and electric scooters, which have a foot platform and a steering column
in front (called a tiller). While the wheelchairs offer great maneuverability in tight spaces, their weight and speed are impractical for extended outdoor use.
On the flip side, the scooters are lighter and faster, but at the expense of indoor convenience. It turns out there is not one answer for both situations,
but rather tradeoffs, depending on the lifestyle of the user.
Since cost was also an issue, I decided to investigate the claims about Medicare supplements before I continued the search.
The first thing to know is that a mobility device must be prescribed by the person's primary physician, which can only be written if it is
an absolute necessity for moving about the inside of the home. The second requirement is that the mobility device be listed on an approved list.
Since the models selected as suitable for indoor use will likely not be the best for outdoor use, and since my father can still walk from room to room,
I resolved that the price would have to be met without the aid of Medicare. His main need was to be able to get out of the confines of his home and
be able to exercise some degree of independence, since his Driver's License was not renewable due to medical reasons.
Now, the comparison began in earnest, narrowing down features most important in the final selection.
First and foremost was stability. After trying out several models on average urban terrain, my father said he felt like he was going to tip over when he
encountered any minor change in slope. Just going across a slight incline such as a driveway made him quite nervous. That's when I noticed that every
model we had looked at shared a common design component, that being the seat was mounted atop a center post. Having an engineering background,
I realized that this method raised the center of gravity, which was causing the instability problem. So I looked extensively, until I finally found a model
featuring a four-point mounted seat, which offered a 45% improvement! I was very happy about that, but what about other factors?
The second major concern was that the scooter be portable, as we did not want the ordeal or expense of mounting a hauling ramp to one or more vehicles.
Since my sisters were currently loading his walker or wheelchair into their car by themselves, whether it be for a doctor's appointment, shopping or a
family outing, the scooter also needed to be lightweight. I couldn't believe our luck when that 'most stable' scooter mentioned above also had the ability to
separate into two sections, each compact and weighing less than 60 pounds each. So far, so good, but could this good streak continue?
The third main consideration was the speed and range of the vehicle. My father was underwhelmed at the prospect of going just 2 or 3 miles per hour on a trip
to the grocery store or restaurant when it was quite cold or hot outside. It seemed the average output of the fastest models offered was only 4 to 5 miles per hour.
And with a range of 6-10 miles, making it back home without a recharge was a big concern. Fortunately, our best scooter candidate thus far also turned out to
have the greatest range and the maximum speed, which is 15 to 20 miles and a top speed of 6 to 7.5 miles per hour.
With these conditions met, we ordered it--the rest of the features we counted as very nice bonuses.
As a lifelong car buff, my dad likes the aesthetics of the PEDI4 and gets compliments from onlookers everywhere he goes. He likes the full light package,
which includes all the safety bulbs and blinkers you expect on a car, plus added reflectors on the side and back of the seat. The large rear storage basket
makes it easy to carry groceries home, without blocking his view. The memory foam seat adds comfort and features arm rests that raise up for easy entry and exit.
There's generous leg and foot room, a fully adjustable front tiller, even a battery gauge and speed control dial. Easy access to all the controls makes him confident
he can maneuver any common terrain, from sidewalks to roadways to inside shops and malls. Just plugging it in at night is virtually all the maintenance it needs.
It arrived fully assembled, with free shipping as well.
Besides having all the attributes he and our family hoped for, the PEDI4 scooter has also answered the question of legal access when riding on a personal mobility device.
It wasn't until my father's driver's license could not be renewed that I ever considered the independence problem that seniors in America can face. In my dad's case,
he has driven all his life, being born before the first Ford was manufactured. He has never had to depend on anyone else to go anywhere he needed. When his license
recently came up for renewal, the California DMV mailed him an envelope containing forms for his doctor to fill out. If he received the medical clearance to drive,
he would have to attend a regional appointment where he would prove his ability in a physical road test. Although he had passed one for the renewal 4 years previous,
this time his doctor refused to sign the affidavit. He said his COPD could cause an issue while driving. Devastated, my dad looked for alternatives, only to find
that with every idea, there were limitations he didn't want to accept.
Every alternative came with unacceptable requirements. In the case of golf carts and other 'low-speed vehicles', as motor vehicles they had registration requirements,
driver's license requirements, and limitations as to where they were allowed to be driven. In the case of 'all-terrain vehicles', they are only for off-highway use, plus
their seat must be straddled, unlike a regular vehicle. Personal mobility devices only have 2 wheels which is for standing; the electric bicycles and mopeds require balance
and straddling the seat, also out of the question. It came down to motorized tricycles and quadricycles which could qualify as pedestrians when operated by
disabled persons, if they met the specific size and motor requirements.
So finally we arrived at the answer for my father's situation, and I am sharing this knowing it can offer hope to many others who find themselves in a similar circumstance.
For those who still have the desire and ability to get out of the house, but do not want to wait on others to provide for their local transportation, the motorized
quadricycle is a terrific solution. It does not require a driver's license, registration or insurance, and the best part is--it is unencumbered by the roadway rules for motor vehicles.
Simply follow the rules for pedestrians, and it is allowed to go wherever a person is allowed when driven by a disabled person. Much like a seeing eye dog that may accompany a
blind person, the motorized trike or quad is allowed with a disabled or senior aged 62 years or more. While I did this research in California, it may be the same or similar in your state,
and local jurisdiction may also apply. Please verify what is true for your area before making this important decision. Our experience is presented here as a guideline only and we hope
you find a happy result, as we did with the PEDI4. Now my father is free to go not just on a sidewalk or neighborhood street, but on any road, in any residential or business district,
any time he desires to. Just having that knowledge alone, may be as important as actually acting upon it.

Spa / Hot Tub Reserve Bromide Based Sanitizer
The materials used will determine how safe and durable the spa cover is:
1. The Vinyl: Not all vinyl is the same. Remember that. You want to be assured that the hot tub cover you are purchasing will have at the bare minimum of 28 ounce Marine grade vinyl. Keyword here is "marine". This vinyl is specifically formulated to maintain its appearance as well as protect the foam insulation. It should already be treated with mildew and UV inhibitors to help keep the spa cover remain strong, and appear new. A reputable company will upgrade the bare minimum that many companies use, and use a thicker marine grade vinyl graded 30 ounce. 30 ouch marine grade vinyl will prolong the life of the foam, maintains its shine, without compromising durability.
2. The Foam: Ensure the company you choose uses closed cell virgin foam. Nothing less. This is not something that should not be compromised for price. Cheap foam will only have you buying another cover in a short amount of time. The foam will keep the heat inside the hot tub. This is vital to your energy bill, as well the health and life of your equipment (heater, pumps, etc). Remember, closed cell foam is your hot tub covers best friend for a healthy life expectancy. Depending on your climate will depend of which foam insulation you pick: 1lb, 1.5lb, or 2lb foam.
3. Safety: ASTM safety approved is a must: Ensure you find a company who follows ASTM guidelines which will include lockable safety straps. Many municipal building codes require ASTM-compliant hot tub covers.
4. Warranty: Find a company who has been in business longer than there warranty entails. This is vital. Never buy from a company who has a "prorated" warranty. This is useless and expensive for the consumer. It gives the company all the power in deciding what you pay for a replacement. Never choose a company who will ask you to ship the hot tub cover back for repair. This is more expensive then a replacement. Be smart in who you buy from.
